Actuarial Analyst

At Next Insurance, we are passionate about making the lives of small business owners easier. We have set out to make sure no small business is blocked from achieving their dreams because of insurance.

We are a fast-growing tech start-up that is re-inventing an industry steeped in tradition. As we design the best SMB insurance experience from the ground up, we face unique analytical challenges: how do you design a “turbo-tax” product experience that helps an entrepreneur cut through the jargon and complexity to quickly identify and buy the insurance they need? How do we design proxy-metrics for what our losses will look like in 3 years on insurance policies we’re writing today?

The ideal candidate is hungry to own company objectives and drive their team towards success through data-driven decisions. They have the intuition to identify important analytical questions, the technical ability for complex deep-dives, and the communication skills to drive ideas into action.
