There is still a lot of paper involved, purchasing a policy can take days or even weeks, and the coverage is so complex that it’s hard for entrepreneurs to understand what they are buying. We're here to change that. Our goal is to make insurance simple, affordable, and transparent for small businesses so they can stop worrying about insurance and focus on running their businesses.
About This Role
We are building a strong in-house creative team and are seeking our first-ever Creative Project Manager to establish best practices from the ground up and keep the teams on track. This role reports into the Executive Creative Director and will have a wide scope that includes establishing our creative review and asset management processes and tools.
You are a great communicator with a passion for organizational excellence. A true partner to the creative team, you set the path for delivering great work efficiently while representing the creative team’s needs. You are a problem solver and a good negotiator who gets satisfaction from keeping the team on track to delivering top tier campaigns.
Support and manage end-to-end production of creative assets: manage briefs, establish project kickoffs, build-out schedule and timelines and ensure teams are meeting deadlines.
Establish a system for managing the creative workflow with a mindset toward continuous improvement. Coordinate the creative team and marketing stakeholders to execute within this process.
Anticipate risks to meeting project milestones and develop solutions to get past them.
Engage directly with Marketing and Product stakeholders to understand the asset needs and design plans to achieve the goals.
Manage agency and vendor relationships to deliver great work on time.
Effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Manage creative resources; know when we need to bring on more people and manage freelancer talent acquisition and onboarding.
Put together case studies as projects are underway.
Desired Skills and Experience:
5+ years in creative project management
Skilled at working with creatives and marketing stakeholders
Good negotiator with an ability to compromise
Fluent in the creative process
Ability to prioritize, plan, and articulate ideas
Builds trust and positive relationships at all levels of the team
Demonstrated experience managing stakeholders and cross-functional teams from project initiation through close
Technically savvy with experience using or implementing creative project management and workflow tools
