Head of Human Resources


We’re growing fast and looking for a Head of Human Resources to help guide us as we grow. You will be a critical member of the team, responsible for helping us find and recruit the best people to our company, and conducting training, onboarding, evaluations and more to ensure that we are able to grow while maintaining our quality of work and team members.

Responsibilities

Oversee and carry out the implementation of a Human Resources program, monitor compliance with established standards and procedures, identify opportunities for improvement and resolve any discrepancies

Develop and monitor an annual budget that includes human resources services, employee recognition, sports teams support, company philanthropic giving, and administration

Build an effective recruitment strategy for the coming year, while analyzing organizational needs and recruitment trends

Collaborate with leading universities to create a university recruitment program

Build the employer brand (positive reviews on Glassdoor, Facebook page, LinkedIn) and develop a referral program for the company

Create and implement employee relations policies to help increase employees’ job satisfaction

Devise an employee retention strategy (create a feedback process between managers and employees, administer an employee feedback survey, clearly define career growth paths, create an onboarding plan, coordinate welfare activities)

Provide coaching for managers and ongoing management skills/hiring training

Set policies for holidays, layoffs, working hours, shifts, exempt and nonexempt employees

Define a feedback process between managers and employees, administer an employee survey (anonymously through a third party vendor)

Desired Skills and Experience:

10+ years’ experience working in human resources department

3+ years’ experience in an HR leadership position helping to scale a high-growth company

Strong understanding of recruitment processes, benefits administration, payroll and other HR functions

Excellent communication, leadership and planning skills

BA/BS degree in Human Resources or related field from a leading university
