People Specialist

Our People Team makes sure Next Insurance is a phenomenal place to work every day. We’re responsible for building, growing and developing the careers of the extraordinary people who work here. We’re looking for a People Specialist to help build the company’s people philosophy and programs. This person will be part coach, consultant, employee relations expert and program manager as we are quickly building up this team to support the company’s growth. Manage employee relations issues and ensure concerns are properly identified, reported and resolved

You will be the point of contact for people-related processes including leave, transfers, onboarding/offboarding and more

You will build, execute, and iterate Next Onboarding to ensure all new hires are set up for success

You will help build and support the company through People programs including learning and development, performance management, change management, organizational design, etc.

You will act as a cultural ambassador, including fostering diversity and inclusion.

Coach, partner and develop employees.

Desired Skills and Experience:

You possess two or more years experience as a HR generalist

You have excellent judgment and problem-solving capabilities; as well as the ability to make thoughtful decisions.

Analytically driven, you are experienced in utilizing qualitative and quantitative approaches to problem-solving and root cause analysis.

You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.

You possess impeccable discretion when handling confidential or sensitive information.

You are agile, fearless, and able to adapt to shifting priorities

BA/BS required; Advanced degree preferred
