Participate in strategic planning conversations to help inform company OKRs and long-term priorities.
Prioritize the product roadmap and backlog for risk optimization and striking the right balance between profitability and growth.
Introduce and advocate for innovative ways to use product experiences and data to assess and correctly price risk.
Understand actuarial, machine learning and predictive models, and communicate knowledge / context to relevant stakeholders.
Collaborate with Insurance Product Managers to drive product development from conception to launch.
Write and revise product requirements for design and engineering.
Test and measure results, then iterate based on what you’ve learned.
Manage vendor relationships, from discovery, proof-of-concept validation, contract negotiations, integration to release.
Work cross-functionally with design, data, engineering, marketing, business intelligence, insurance operations, customer support, senior management, and external partners.
3+ years of product management, marketing, and/or strategy experience at a consumer technology company or management consulting firm.
At least 2 years in Risk Product or a related area
Experience with assessing and managing financial risk - at purchase and post-purchase.
Experience leading cross-functional teams to drive business results.
Experience initiating and driving projects to completion with minimal guidance.
Experience analyzing, interpreting, and leveraging data to make product decisions.
Experience productizing machine learning models and building diagnostic dashboards for them post-production.
Experience working with product and operations teams to reduce risk and optimize business processes.
Experience creating business requirements for engineering teams.
Excellent analytical and quantitative skills with extreme attention to detail.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
