Product Manager, Post-Purchase Experience

Small business insurance is a $130 billion industry in the US, but more than 90% of small businesses purchase insurance offline through insurance agents, which can take several weeks and be outrageously overpriced. We’re disrupting a traditionally offline industry by going direct to the customer and 100% online.

We’re hiring for a capable product manager who can hit the ground running and build a post-purchase experience for our customers which is personal, effortless, and empowering. PMs on the post-purchase experience will work across many areas including: certificates, policy/account management, payments/billing, contact automation, virtual agent, accident prevention, and claims handling.

The PM who takes on this role should care deeply about the customer, their needs and pain points, and how we can help their business thrive. This role’s biggest impact will be on retention, NPS, and viral growth (word-of-mouth).

Responsibilities:

Inform a strategically important product area end to end

Formulate the product strategy and vision in your product area

Prioritize the product roadmap and backlog in your product area.

Drive product development from conception to launch.

Analyze and optimize the behavior of our users.

Work cross-functionally with design, engineering, marketing, business intelligence, insurance operations, customer support, claims advocates, senior management, and external partners.

Write product requirements for design and engineering.

Test and measure results, then iterate based on what you’ve learned.

Perform user research and competitive analysis as needed.

Be a champion for the customer.

Desired Skills and Experience:

2+ years of product management experience at a tech company.

Demonstrated success owning a major product feature from end to end.

Strong technical competency.

Strong design instincts.

BA/BS degree
