Senior IT Specialist

Small business insurance is a $130 billion industry in the US, but more than 90% of small businesses purchase insurance offline through insurance agents, which can take several weeks. More than 30% of small businesses don’t have any insurance at all! We aim to transform the commercial insurance industry just like Uber and Airbnb transformed the taxi and hotel industries. We’re changing a traditionally offline industry to be 100% online - no agents, no paperwork. We’re also working to make insurance accessible to every small business in America. Selling insurance to 28 million small businesses across hundreds of different professions is a huge challenge, so we’re looking for a talented, passionate Senior IT Specialist that is up to the task.


Own, maintain and monitor core IT services

Serve as 1st point of contact for all hardware, software and networking issues

Own the on/off-boarding of company employees which includes, but not limited to, provisioning equipment, workstation setup, and identity access management solutions

Act in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational policy

Ensure security of data, network access, and remote access

Lead with technical expertise and hands-on support of end-user infrastructure (hardware, software/OS) including, but not limited to, Mac and PC laptops, AV equipment, Wireless network, and other office technical equipment

Desired Skills and Experience:

At least 3+ years experience in an IT, help desk or support role focused on software, hardware, and computers

Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration, and network installation

Experience in working with cloud-based software solutions such as G-Suite, Identity management, Ticketing system, etc.

Must be a self-starting individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Excellent customer service, “Can Do” approach and problem-solving skills

Experience in client endpoint management systems, security tools, and monitoring

Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment with changing priorities

Support experience for Windows, Mac OSX, and Linux

Good understanding of IP Networking concepts (LANs, WANs, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, etc)

Experience working in a global company preferred
